Top Reasons to Move to Canada from India in 2022

Most welcoming to immigrants

According to a new global survey, Canada is one of the most welcoming countries in the world for accepting migrants.

Furthermore, according to US News and World Report, Canada will be the world’s best quality of life nation in 2022 and the world’s second most transparent nation. The infrastructure, cost of living, political stability, tax system, employment rate, and other factors are considered in the ranking.

More newcomers are being welcomed.

Canada has recently resumed its all-program Express Entry draws, beginning on July 6, 2022. It has invited qualified applicants under all three programs, including Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Federal Skilled Trades (FST), and Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

The country is aiming for the highest level of immigration in Canadian history, according to the 2022-2024 Immigration Levels Plan. Canada hopes to welcome 431,645 newcomers in 2022, 447,055 in 2023, and 451,000 in 2024 over the next three years.

With such a high target, the federal and provincial governments will invite an increasing number of immigrants through various programs, particularly economic class programs such as Express Entry and the Provincial Nominee Program.

Migration policies that are clear and simple to understand

The federal government of Canada wishes to make the Canada immigration process as simple as possible for all applicants. As a result of its ongoing efforts, Canada’s immigration policies and procedures are currently the smoothest and most accessible in the world.

The Express Entry system, for example, selects candidates based on core human factors and processes, completing skilled PR visa applications in 4-6 months.

The economy is booming.

Canada has the world’s ninth-largest economy. Because it has always been a trading nation, commerce has always been the engine of its economic growth. Canada, along with the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan, Italy, and Russia, is a member of the G8 group of major industrialized countries.

The Canadian economy is based on three key industries: service industries, manufacturing industries, and natural resource industries. These industries offer various job opportunities to skilled foreign workers annually.

System of Universal Healthcare

The funded universal healthcare system in Canada is anything but static. The government has time to reform the system while still affecting healthcare and Canadian society. The universal coverage provided to Canadian citizens and permanent residents is based on their need for health care services rather than their ability to pay for them.

The simplest way to move to Canada from India

Express Entry

Express Entry, managed by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), is designed to process PR applications within 8-12 months under the following economic immigration programs:

Program for Federal Skilled Workers (FSWP)

The FSWP is designed for skilled workers who have worked abroad and want to move to Canada permanently.

To be eligible, you must have at least one year of full-time, continuous, skilled work experience in the previous ten years. It would also be helpful if you met the minimum eligibility criteria regarding age, education level, and English or French language skills.

Federal Skilled Trades Training Program (FSTP)

The FSTP is for skilled workers who want to become Canadian permanent residents based on their qualifications in any skilled trade. It is a quicker PR option for qualified tradespeople.

To be eligible, you must have two years of full-time experience in any skilled trade in the previous five years. Furthermore, knowledge will only be considered if obtained after obtaining certification to practice the same profession in your country of origin or residence.

Class for Canadian Experience (CEC)

The CEC is for skilled workers who have prior work experience in Canada and want to move to Canada permanently.

You must have one year of full-time skilled work experience in Canada to be eligible. This experience must have been obtained within the last three years of the application submission date.

Programs for Provincial Nominees (PNPs)

Each Canadian province has its own PNP stream with selection requirements and criteria for inviting skilled foreign nationals to apply for a Canada PR visa.

However, suppose you intend to migrate to Canada from India by 2022. In that case, the following PNPs will provide you with the most straightforward path to permanent residency in Canada:

Provincial Nominee Program in Saskatchewan (SINP)

The SINP is the simplest Canadian PNP to apply for to get permanent residency in Canada. There are several popular streams for applying to the Saskatchewan provincial nominee program:

Saskatchewan Express Entry: It is one of the International Skilled Worker streams and is the quickest pathway that works in conjunction with the Federal Express Entry system. This stream is intended for skilled foreign workers who want to live and work permanently in Canada. To be eligible to apply, a candidate must have an active profile in the federal express entry system and at least 12 months of skilled work experience in any of Saskatchewan’s in-demand occupations.

Saskatchewan In-Demand Occupation: This sub-category is also included in SINP’s International Skilled Worker streams. It is ideal for those who do not already have a valid job offer or ties to the province. Applicants must have a point assessment grid score of at least 60 out of 100, professional work experience in a high-demand occupation, and a language score of at least CLB 4.

Immigrant Nominee Program in Alberta (AINP)

Alberta manages many PNP streams. The most popular and accessible of which is the Express Entry stream for skilled foreign workers. Who have no prior connection to Canada or a job offer from a Canadian employer.

One of the primary advantages of the AINP Express Entry stream is the low CRS cut-off score requirement of 300 points or higher. Which means that more candidates receive Notifications of Interest from Alberta.

Immigrant Nominee Program in Ontario (OINP)

If you live outside of Canada, the Human Capital Priorities stream in Ontario is an excellent option for applying for permanent residence in Canada. The Ontario PNP prioritizes foreign nationals capable of filling skilled positions in the province under this stream.

Because this stream is linked to the Federal Express Entry system, having a valid Express Entry profile is one of the critical selection criteria. The best part is that it has a low minimum CRS score of 400 points.

Provincial Nominee Program in Manitoba (MPNP)

The Skilled Workers Overseas stream of the MPNP is ideal for skilled foreign workers who have a prior connection to the province. Such as a relative living in Manitoba. Previous studies, prior work experience, and so on.
