The scholars have unanimously agreed on the validity of the Hajj and Umrah of the young child/distinguished boy and the undistinguished boy. In the Umrah Guide, we talk about many issues related to Hajj and Umrah, and we explain many issues and topics useful in performing Umrah and travel.
Here we will explain to you some issues related to the Hajj and Umrah of a boy, with a description of the Umrah of a boy.
If a boy enters ihraam for Hajj, it is valid. If he is distinguished, he should do as an adult male and female do, and if he is young, the Ihram contract is held for him by his guardian.
If a young child enters ihram and then is not able to complete the ritual due to illness, or overcrowding, and the like, then it is not necessary to complete the ritual. Because it is not costly, and there is no ransom for it; Because he does not have to start the ritual, nor complete the ritual.
If a young child performs Hajj and then reaches puberty, he must perform the Hajj of Islam after puberty.
It is Sunnah to perform Hajj with a boy, and whoever performs Hajj with him is rewarded. On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them, he said: A woman raised a boy for her and said: O Messenger of God, is this Hajj? She said: “Yes, and you will be rewarded.” [Muslim]
Description of the boy’s pilgrimage
With regard to the description of Umrah for an undistinguished boy who is under seven, we will quote this text to you from the Islam Question and Answer website:
That his guardian, after he wears Ihram and avoids prohibitions, intends on his behalf that the boy has become forbidden.
Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen, may God have mercy on him, said: “So he is forbidden on his behalf: that is, he intends that this boy has become forbidden, not that he intends that he is forbidden on behalf of the boy; Because this is not correct, but he intends that this boy entered into Ihram, and if he does that, the boy’s Ihram is contracted.” End of “Sharh Al Kafi” by Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen, may God have mercy on him.
Likewise, he intends for him to circumambulate and seek, and he may carry him in them, and it is better if he is carrying him to circumambulate for himself, then circumambulate for the boy, and if he suffices with one circumambulation, it is sufficient for both of them according to the most correct.
Sheikh Ibn Baz, may God have mercy on him, said: “If the pregnant woman intends to circumambulate on his behalf and on the mobile and saa’i on him and on the mobile, that will suffice according to the most correct of the two sayings, because the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not order the one who asked him about the boy’s Hajj to circumambulate for him alone, and if that was an obligation, he would have explained, may God bless him and grant him peace. peace be upon him.” End quote from Majmoo’ Fataawa al-Shaykh Ibn Baz (5/257).
I asked sheikh Ibn Jibreen about that and he said: “Where the boy’s Ihram is valid, the guardian is responsible for him. The predicate is correct, if the boy did something forbidden out of ignorance by wearing or covering his head, then there is no ransom for lack of intent.
If the boy has circumambulated and performed is, then the shaving or shortening remains, and it is better to shave, because the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, prayed for those who shaved three times and for those who shortened their hair once. Narrated by Muslim (1303), unless he fears the cold so shortening is sufficient, and the shortening must be from the whole head, as is the doctrine of Malik and Ahmed, may God have mercy on them.
Umrah: its virtues, Rulings, Pillars and Duties:
Welcome to the Umrah guide. This is a useful guide to performing Umrah, which provides some important tips and advice in order to make a special trip to Makkah and Madinah and perform a beneficial Umrah, God willing.

Umrah: It is the worship of God by circumambulating the House, running between Safa and Marwah, shaving, or shortening. Umrah is a confirmed Sunnah, and it is Sunnah at all times of the year, and in the months of Hajj it is better than the rest of the year, and it is Sunnah to repeat it and increase it, and it must be completed; God Almighty said: (And complete the Hajj and Umrah for God’s sake, then if you are besieged, then what is found in the guidance) [Al-Baqarah: 196].
Virtues of Hajj and Umrah:
Among the hadiths indicating the virtue of Hajj and Umrah are the following:
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “The Umrah to the Umrah is an expiation for what is between them, and an accepted Hajj has no reward but Paradise.” [Agreed upon].
On the authority of Ibn Masoud, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Continue between Hajj and Umrah, for they remove poverty and sins as the furnace removes the impurities of iron, gold and silver, and the justified Hajj has no reward except Paradise.” Narrated by Ahmad and Al-Tirmidhi.
The number of the age of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace:
The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, performed four Umrahs, all of them during the months of Hajj, which are: Umrah al-Hudaybiyah, Umrah al-Qada, Umrah al-Ja’aranah, and Umrah with his Hajj, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and all his life, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was in the month of Dhul-Qa’dah.

And whoever left one of them is not valid.
