Have you been hearing of or seeing CBD vape juice all over the place and are wondering whether it’s for you? Read on and you’ll hopefully leave with a better understanding of what exactly they are and whether you should jump onto the CBD vape train.
Vaping in general has become such a hot trend especially among young people and teens. Since its introduction about ten years ago, it has grown in use and popularity especially. On the other hand, since the legalisation of CBD, many products have hit the shelves and your social media feed touting this new phenomenon.
Among these products have been CBD vape juice products, coming in many different colours and flavours. CBD vape juice or e-juice is a CBD based vape liquid used in vape devices. It is a great way of consuming CBD because it allows the CBD to be absorbed into the bloodstream much quicker than through conventional means such as ingestion.
What is CBD Vape Juice?
CBD vape juice is just like any other e-juice. The main difference is that instead of nicotine being added, CBD is added instead. It consists of a base of propylene glycol, vegetable glycerine and flavouring. CBD extract is then added to this base.
CBD vape juice comes in a host of creative flavours making it one of the preferred ways of taking CBD especially among the younger generation.
Though vaping is safer than conventional smoking, it still carries the risk of respiratory illnesses. It is not for everyone too as some react negatively to it.
Can I Vape CBD Tinctures?
CBD tinctures are CBD which is steeped in an alcohol based. This base is usually 60% to 80% distilled alcohol. They are a popular way of consuming CBD either sublingually, (under the tongue) or in food and drinks including coffee.
A number of coffee shops around the US sell CBD infused coffee as part of their offering. They often use tinctures for this. Tinctures are not suitable for vaping though. The only thing you should even think of using for vaping are clearly labelled CBD vape juices.
They should be labelled as CBD vape juice or CBD e-juice. We will also note that CBD oil should never be vaped even though CBD vape juice is sometimes referred to as CBD oil. Heated oil vapour can cause serious damage to your lungs which has sometimes been fatal. CBD tinctures and CBD oil should NEVER be vaped.
Is CBD Vape Juice Legal?
Since CBD is legal in all 50 States of the US, CBD products that meet the legal 0.3% threshold of THC are legal in all States. It has to be noted that there are some States that are a bit stricter when it comes to CBD than others.
In these places, State laws may conflict with federal laws meaning that you may need to educate yourself on the legal requirements of your particular state before embarking in CBD use including vaping.
Though vaping and CBD use is, on paper, legal, the FDA has placed restrictions when it comes to the distribution of CBD products. What this means is that CBD products produced in one State cannot be sold in another state. In short, they should not cross straight lines.
This is a bit difficult to manage in cases where people buy CBD online and have it delivered across State lines. The biggest online retailer, Amazon prohibits the sale of CBD products on their site even though you will find hemp oil products being sold as CBD.
HerHighness.com is a leading CBD seller for all products women. You can tell from the lovely and cute branding. We extend these traits to what is in our CBD and how we deliver it. Grab your free shipping on all orders more than $75 today.
Another reason that this law is difficult to police is that CBD is allowed on planes and can easily be moved from one State to another.
