Two days from Dehradun, the Nag Tibba Trek package will go to the train station or bus stand and get a cab and bus for Pantwari from there. You will refresh yourself, have lunch in a hotel, then start your Nag Tibba 4 km long trip. After the base camp, cool tea, snacks, and a delicious dinner will be served.
The summit at Nag Tibba is just 7 KM from the base camp, and the beauty of some great mountain tops, such as Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Kedarnath, and Gangotri, is always unforgivable. On the second day of the trek, the Nag Tibba temple will also be covered. The downhill route will not be other than the uphill route. It takes you around 8 km to go on a walk to Pantwari and then on a drive to Dehradun, finishing the tour with some beautiful memories.
About the Nag Tibba:
The Nag Tibba Tour or the Serpent’s Peak Trek is an excellent pleasure for lovers of adventure from all over the world, showing the best tranquility and exciting trekking routes through thick wetlands and wilderness. Nag Tibba is at approximately 3022 meters above sea level and thus is a perfect weekend stay, especially for hiking. This is very interesting for many people to refresh themselves from a boring working routine.
In comparison, the hiking route near Mussoorie is less explored, but so much for witnessing and enjoying. Garhwal Himalayas are Nag Tibba’s pioneering protector, and the Shivalik range is the highest. Before reaching the top of Nag Tibba, the rich flora and fauna of the forests are the main attraction that keeps trekkers returning for the reverberation of their beauty. The Bandarpoonch peak, the Gangotri peaks, the Kedarnath peak, the Changabang peaks and the Doon Valley are great options for enjoying the views.
Trek to Nag Tibba is a circular trek that takes you from the start to another point and the pathways you cross once do not overlap to reach the top. There will be a contrasting landscape as you descend from the top. Some picturesque villages and very beautiful Deodar forests warmly greet you and give you a cool atmosphere to make you lose your fatigue.
The highest point in Garhwal Himalayas’ Nag Tibba Range is 9915 ft. The summit of this trek. The snow-covered Himalayan spectacle such as Swargrohini, Bandarpoonch, Kala Nager, Srikantha, and Gangotri is a 100-degree view from there. The Kedarnath peak is also visible in the north, the doon valley, and the Changabang snowy peaks. This weekend trek may be one of the best with vistas such as this and a climb to get you to earn them.
You also experience a variety of landscapes as you go up one side of the mountain and down from the other side. This trek takes you through thick forests, clearings and mountain ridge. In two days, everything!
The sunset view from the campground
This is one of the few treks we have to see fantastic sunsets. This is because this trail leads in the direction. On a clear day, you see great mountains covered by snow, including Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Kalanag, Srikanth, and Gangotri illuminating a fiery orange tone. Under you, there is a floating bed of clouds. To see this sunset, you need not even climb to a high point. From your campsite, you can see it right!
Nag Tibba’s summit day is a long day. You start descending to a village named Bhatwadi immediately after touching the summit. This is a picturesque route. An hour after your descent, you enter a clearing known as Moriana, where on one side is the river and on the other side you see several shepherd’s huts. The forest is surrounding this place. This is a beautiful place to take pictures!
From here, the trail passes through a beautiful forest covering the river. You are disappointed that such a beautiful road is coming to an end when you enter farms after an hour or so.
